Pentecost Monday — French bank holiday. Verify Le Tournesol's bank-holiday hours and the Compagnie Corsaire Bus de Mer timetable (may run Sunday schedule) a few days out. Noon lunch slot is deliberate to beat the galette queue.

No morning driving — the Bus de Mer (Compagnie Corsaire) crosses the Rance estuary in ~10 min. Dinard embarkation at Cale de la Perle, short walk from the hotel.

Stay: Manoir de Lan Kerellec

Full day on Île Grande (Pleumeur-Bodou, ~15 min drive). Subtler heath-and-boulder take on the Côte de Granit Rose, with views to the Sept-Îles archipelago.

LPO station closed. Station LPO de l'Île-Grande (seabird rehab centre, post-Amoco Cadiz) is closed for renovation through 1 June 2026, so it's out for this trip.
  • Park at Porz Gélin (west side); no practical public transport.
  • GR 34 perimeter loop clockwise, ~8 km / 2½–3 h at birding pace — check tide table; east-side flats change character completely.
  • Lunch: Le Bout d'l'Île, 14 rue Toul ar Stang — brasserie/crêperie, Apr–Oct 7/7, 11:00–21:00. Walk-in only, no reservations.
  • Afternoon: drive ~20 min to Ploumanac'h / Trégastel for the showy pink-granite GR 34 (~1½–2 h on foot).
  • Late afternoon: back to Manoir — spa option.

Tide-dependent boarding (works through 15 Jun 2026). High tide → board at Estacade (Vieux Port, short walk from hotel). Low tide → board shifts to Port de Bloscon, ~30-min walk from Vieux Port. Check the tide table the night before; add a half-hour buffer for a Bloscon sailing.
